but how do you know which is really the best?

Frequencies: Dual vs Single Frequency vs Quad Frequency vs Multi Frequency?
Honestly, the more frequencies the better the results that you can expect.
Of course, more frequencies cost more.
There are some single frequency zappers that claim to be the best.
The truth is, if a single frequency could be even close to being best, then
why would other companies go to the trouble of producing dual and quad frequencies?.
Some people might want to claim sales gimmicks, but that literally is not true. Shooting
at something once might hit or it might miss. Perhaps that is why six-shooter revolvers
were invented.
The truth is that dual frequencies offer more effectiveness that single frequencies.
Quad frequency zappers are even better, if they have all of the other important features.
Eight or more frequencies can produce even better results.
As an analogy, would you rather have a 1 cylinder lawn mower engine in your car?
A two culinder? Four cylinders?, Six cylinders? OR more?

Accurate Frequencies: Dr. Hulda Clark claimed that any frequency would work
and to a degree, she was right. Some frequencies, however, are much better
than others. But in order for these frequencies to have their maximum effect,
they must be exactly the right frequency. This is another place where micro-controller
based zappers are better.

Stabilized output All of our zappers have it but,
While some zapper makers claim that this is great, we do not see any significant gains.
It only adds low frequency signal and this is not important.

Positive offset as specified by Dr. Clark is included in almost every zapper,
and is definitely in all of our products.

Long battery life: Sorry, some companies sacrifice effectiveness
in order to conserve battery power. A standard 9-volt battery provides about 150 mAh.
If your zapper last 150 hours of usage, then you can only get 1 mA of current.
That is not enough! For ideal effectiveness, a minimum of 2 to 4 mA is a good value, more is better up to a limit.
Our zappers provide the maximum battery life that can be obtained without sacrificing current.
As an analogy, a 100 mpg automobile would be great,
but it might not be able to climb a very steep hill.

Better Zapper Made in the USA of high quality parts.
Many zappers are made with hand wired boards that are not rugged or do not last.
Also, many other zappers do not have their circuit boards secured inside of the case.
Our zappers are ruggedly built using high quality surface mount components.
Our circuit boards are securely anchored inside of the case.

Connections make a big difference.
Some companies hardwire their electrodes or use cheap audio connectors.
Always make sure that the zapper you buy has "Banana Jacks and Plugs"
whch allows the use of many industry standard electrodes and devices.
Banana plugs provide solid wire connections, no rinky-dink alligator clips.

Timers may be convenient, but they do not necessarily provide the best results.
Sometimes, 10 minutes on will produce better results than 7 minutes.
If you get one with a timer, make certain that you have flexibility in your zappers timing.

Wrist straps of any kind, while convenient, are less effective.
Also, wrist straps that claim to have fibers embedded into the elastic band are less effective than the ones that use metal plates.
Metal electrodes that provide at least 5 inches square of contact are important.
More contact area and more positive contact points produces best results.

Conductive rubber pads of any kind such as those for TENS units, while convenient, are less effective because they show a much higher resistance.

100 percent positive output ?
Nothing but hype. Just touching a 9 volt battery will give you this.
Only a couple of manufacturers claim this is better, but ask them for tests to prove it.
We could easily provide the same output, but we do not see any improved results.

Any technology that is an improvement in effectiveness will be included in our products.
If they claim that their technology is better, then have them compare it to ParaZapper ™CCa,
ParaZapper ™CC1, or to ParaZapper ™M1
It is odd that competitors compare their zappers to our cheaper models,
but none of them compare theirs to our ParaZapper ™CCa.

Otherwise, the best choice, feature to feature, price to price, is the ParaZapper ™CCa or the ParaZapper ™CC1, either with copper paddles and pads (model pz00046) or (model pz10046).
ParaZapper ™CC1 (Model pz10046) does not have the adjustable control but provides greater accuracy of frequency as well as a total of 9 frequencies in 4 ranges.
Dr. Clark does not provide or produce zappers to the public. Since their introduction, however, some producers and sellers who have provided them have been pursued and shut down by the FDA, whenever these devices have been sold for use on humans, intended to treat disease, support or sustain human life, or prevent imparment of human health. The FDA has not listed any claims of injuries or problems, only stating that registration and fees have not been paid. Therefore under the FDA'a regulations, the zapper does not present a potential unreasonable risk of illness or injury. None the less, regulatory actions continue; for this reason, we do not sell zappers for purposes that require FDA registration and/or validation.
If you are wanting to buy a zapper for personal experimentation, you may order one and may choose to experiment with the zapper after purchasing it, however, we do not sell it with the intent that it be so used.
Zappers may also be used for checking oscilloscopes or items such as small loud speakers, but are not accurate for calibration purposes. They are also great conversation pieces when left on the coffee table.
Because regulations do not allow for the sale of zappers for use on humans or animals, while they meet the same manufacturing standards as before, the Zappers below are sold for the use of lowering levels of bacteria, protozoa, fungi, parasites, and other organisms in standing water such as cooling towers, ponds, fountains, water containers, or similar water tanks. Results may not be significant in larger volumes of water.
Zappers are often used in research and study applications. While we could not find any rules limiting individual personal research, any doctor using zappers for research on humans or for treating humans may have to register with the FDA. It is the responsibility of the professional to meet these requirements.

Why we do not sell zappers for use on humans or animals
In Feb. 2006, the FDA, along with several other agencies, raided us, taking equipment, supplies, and records. They contacted a long list of customers looking to find someone to complain about us. They failed in this respect and the DA told them to return our property.
Following this, the FDA sent us a letter claiming that our zappers were a CLASS III medical device (in the same group as a pacemaker) and that we could not market them for use on humans unless we went through their approval process. The fees charged by the FDA are reasonable, but the cost of trials are prohibitive, costing several million dollars, according to some sources. For that reason, we do not market zappers for use on humans.
